A seminar on Environmental Protection was conducted on 9th May for the summer camp and 42nd batch skill training students by Mr. Manju Kiran, Leader of the Karnataka State Rajya Raita Sangha and President of Hasiru Sene. The session focused on the concept of environment and the responsibility of every individual in keeping it clean and healthy. The resource person explained the importance of trees, forests, animals, and lakes in maintaining ecological balance and replenishing ground water. He also highlighted the harmful effects of pesticides on insects such as honey bees, the significance of maintaining a healthy Air Quality Index (AQI), and the urgent need to protect natural resources in cities.

The seminar further emphasized the important role of young people in protecting the ecosystem and creating positive social and environmental change. Through interactive discussions and examples from daily life, students actively participated and shared their ideas and concerns about environmental issues.

The session had a positive impact on the young adolescents by creating awareness about environmental conservation and encouraging them to adopt responsible habits such as reducing waste, protecting plants and animals, and keeping their surroundings clean. It inspired the students to understand that even small actions can contribute towards a healthier environment and motivated them to become responsible and environmentally conscious citizens.
