The concluding programme of Summer Camp 2026 was held on 15th May 2026 at Don Bosco Makkalaya with great enthusiasm and joy. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing our motto: placing the lamp on the lampstand.
The gathering was welcomed with introductory words by Fr. Jim Jose SDB, the Executive Director of Don Bosco Makkalaya. In his address, he appreciated the active participation of the students throughout the camp and encouraged them to continue learning and developing their talents.
The event featured several colourful cultural programmes presented by the students, including singing and dance performances. A fun and interactive riddle quiz was also conducted, which created excitement and active participation among the students.
The chief guest of the programme was Fr. Devassy SDB, Director of Don Bosco Makkalamane. In his inspiring speech, he spoke about the importance of creative thinking and encouraged the students to make productive and creative use of their vacations and holidays. His message motivated the students to use their time meaningfully for personal growth and learning.
During the programme, certificates were distributed to all the students who successfully completed the Summer Camp 2026. Prizes were also awarded to the Blue, Green, and Red teams in recognition of their participation and achievements during the camp activities.
The programme concluded on a cheerful note with snacks and refreshments shared among the students, staff, and guests. The concluding programme served as a memorable and meaningful ending to the Summer Camp 2026, leaving the students with joyful experiences, valuable lessons, and lasting memories.
