The Inauguration of the SSLC and PUC Classes for the Academic Year 2026–27, along with the Conclusion and Certification Ceremony of the 42nd Batch Skill Training, was held on 30th June 2026 at Don Bosco Makkalalaya.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a lamp procession led by the students. The Chief Guest, Sr. Jenifer Pinto UFS, congratulated the students and wished them success in their future endeavours. In her address, she encouraged them to make the best use of the skills they had gained during the training. Fr. Jim Jose SDB, Executive Director of Don Bosco Makkalalaya, reminded the students that learning never ends and motivated both the graduating trainees and the newly admitted SSLC and PUC students to continue learning and building good character.
The programme included the screening of a “Golden Memories” video, followed by song and dance performances by the students. Prizes were distributed to the winning Red, Green, and Blue teams, the winners of the Reels Making Competition, and students with 100% attendance. A fun award ceremony added joy to the celebration, and the students presented a token of appreciation to the management and staff.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the 42nd Batch Skill Training students and snacks for all the attendees, marking the successful completion of one journey and the beginning of another.
