The inaugural ceremony of the 42nd Batch Skill Training and Summer Camp 2026 was held with great enthusiasm. The programme began with introductory words by Fr. Jim Jose SDB, Executive Director of Don Bosco Makkalalaya.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Venkatesh, KSCPCR member, emphasized the importance of making use of opportunities, learning skills, building confidence, and believing in oneself. He appreciated the institution for successfully completing 41 batches and highlighted the purpose of skill training in shaping disciplined, systematic, and value-based lives.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Ravichandra, CWC Chairperson, encouraged students to make the best use of the opportunities provided to them.
In his presidential address, Fr. Devassy SDB, Director of Don Bosco Makkalamane, spoke about the importance of creativity and urged students to use their talents effectively.
The dignitaries were honoured during the programme. Students of the Skill Training and Summer Camp presented vibrant cultural performances. ID cards were distributed to the participants by the guests.
The programme concluded with snacks and refreshments.
