Time Management Workshop for 41st Batch Skill Training Students

A time management workshop was conducted for the 41st batch of skill training students to prepare them for the demands of professional life. The session was facilitated by Fr. Devassy SDB, Director of Don Bosco Makkalamane.

The workshop began with an interactive activity in which students recalled and listed the activities they perform in a day. This activity helped them understand how their time is utilized and identify areas where time is often lost. Fr. Devassy then explained the meaning and importance of time management and shared practical ways to manage time effectively, including setting priorities, planning tasks, and maintaining self-discipline.

Special emphasis was given to the relevance of time management for students who are about to enter the workforce. The session highlighted how punctuality, meeting deadlines, managing responsibilities, and handling work pressure are essential expectations in the workplace. Effective time management was presented as a key factor in improving productivity, professionalism, and work–life balance.

The workshop was beneficial for the students as it equipped them with essential skills required for employment. It motivated them to develop positive habits that will support a smooth transition from training to work life and contribute to their long-term career growth.
